A valid debit or credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation with us. (Sorry, but we do not accept American Express).

A deposit of £100 per person is required at the time of booking (outside of the 6 weeks prior to your stay). Payment must have been made in full by 6 weeks in advance of your stay with us.  Paying in instalments is possible, upon request.

When you book a retreat with Harmony House, you are entering into an agreement with us. Due to the exclusive nature of the retreats, we regret that we are unable to issue refunds beyond 6 weeks in advance of your stay. However, if we are able to refill your place, we will refund in full, minus a £30 processing fee.

For cancellations more than 6 weeks in advance: receive a full refund minus £30 processing fee. 

n.b. We reserve the right to cancel a retreat if the minimum number of attendees is not met. We will inform you within 2 weeks of your retreat should this be the case. You will have the right to a refund, or to transfer onto another retreat.

Payment for additional items, such as additional food and beverages, purchased during your stay, can be made by cash or credit/debit card, or charged to your room.

Please note that we are a licensed premises and stock a small number of alcoholic beverages and canned and bottled soft drinks, which are available to purchase during your stay.

We politely request, in line with the UK licensing laws, that you do not bring your own alcohol for consumption on the premises.

We have a strict no-smoking or recreational drugs policy throughout the premises and if it is ignored we reserve the right to charge £50 to your card for additional cleaning.

Access to Harmony House Boutique B&B and Willow Cottage:

When you arrive at Harmony House take a short walk along the pavement to the front gate.

Harmony House is very old and although it has been modernised from a residential house and cottage, it still has a number of small steps and has some low beams throughout the property.

To access the main guest house and Garden Room, there are three steps halfway along the path to the front door. From the entrance porch there is a step down into the hall and 9 stairs plus another 3 to 6 stairs to the bedrooms. There is also a small step into the Poppy room and 2 larger steps into the Cornflower room. If you are over 6’ 2” tall, please note that the Poppy room has sloping ceilings and open beams to be mindful of. Harmony Tea Room has a small step at the threshold.

Access to Willow Cottage is by the public footpath lane at the righthand side of Harmony House. The entrance is to the rear of Harmony House through glass French Doors. The stairs to the bedroom are narrow and have a 90 degree turn halfway up. People over 5’10” tall need to be aware that the bedroom roof slopes to this height in its lowest section.

We cannot host children or pets on any of our retreats, with the exception of a fully trained service animal where necessary.
